Power concentrated within five families in Haryana: PM Modi
Faridabad, Oct 6 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said power in Haryana is concentrated in the hands of five families who are looting the people of the state.
"There is no democracy, but a dynastic rule in Haryana. Here power is concentrated in the hands of five families who are looting the people. We must save Haryana from this," said Prime Minister Modi.
"The Congress couldn't even reach 50 seats in recent Lok Sabha polls. The resentment of people towards them has become very evident today. They wouldn't even be able to reach double digit this time and it is due to their own sins," he added.
Prime Minister Modi further stressed on the need to change the condition of women in the state.
"We haven't even given a right to birth to girls, is this our culture? I want to ask my mothers and sisters don't our girls have a right to take birth in this state? We must change this situation," said Prime Minister Modi.
"I want to assure you that you have a brother in Delhi who has dedicated himself for security of women. I appeal you to vote for us for the rights and security of women of the nation," he added.
The election for 90-member Haryana Assembly will take place on October 15 while the votes will be counted on October 19. (ANI)
