Toyako, July 9: On the sidelines of the ongoing G-8 summit in Hokkaido in Japan, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh today met US President George W Bush.

After the meeting that lasted around 45 minutes at Hotel Windsor Toya, Dr. Singh told reporters that India’s relationship with the US has never been as good as it was now.

"Our relationship with the United States has never been in such good shape as it is today. I am very pleased with the state of our relationship," he said.

Toyako, July 8: On the sidelines of the ongoing G-8 Summit in Japan, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh today met Chinese President Hu Zintao. During the meeting, both sides held delegation-level talks.

According to sources, the Chinese President condemned yesterday’s suicide attack on Indian embassy in Kabul in which 41 people were killed and more than 140 injured.

In what is being described as the first attack on any Indian embassy of such magnitude, a suicide bomber rammed his bomb-laden car into the gates of the Indian embassy in Kabul.

Islamabad  - Pakistan's foreign minister denounced Monday's suicide bomb attack near the Indian embassy in Kabul that left 44 dead and more than 100 injured.

Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi condemned the blast "which resulted in the loss of precious lives," a statement said.

The minister repeated Pakistan's condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
