Jammu, Jan 1 : Around a dozen activists of regional Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) got injured when police resorted to baton charge on them as they were staging a protest on the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway in Kashmir.

Among the injured in the baton charge were supporters of BSP leader Kamal Arora who had contested in the recent assembly elections unsuccessfully from Bishna constituency.

They were protesting with a demand for re-counting of votes in Bishna constituency.
