Petron Engineering bags two LoI worth Rs 99.76 crore; Stock up 4%

Petron Engineering Construction Limited (PECL), a subsidiary of KazStroyServices Plc has informed that it has secured two letters of intent (LoI) worth Rs 99.76 crore from two different firms.

The company has bagged first LoI worth Rs 43 crore, from Sichuan Fortune Project Management, China, for erection of two 330 MW power plants (phase II) of Adani Power Project at Mundra, Gujarat.

While the company has received second LoI, which is valued at Rs 56.76 crore, from Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) for the installation of equipment and piping for DHDT and HGU of Gujarat Refinery in the State of Gujarat.

Last month, PECL had received a letter of Intent from Utility Energytech and Engineers, Reliance Energy, Noida, for the Rosa thermal power project valued at Rs 9.44 crore.

The company share touched a high of Rs 260 on the BSE after the news. It ended the day at Rs 251, up Rs 9 or 4% compared to the previous close.
