Uma Bharti reiterates her support to AdvaniNew Delhi, Mar 19: Bharatiya Janashakti Party leader Uma Bharti on Thursday reiterated support to Bharatiya Janata Party''s prime ministerial candidate L K Advani.

"I have met Advani for the third time now. I have already met him twice earlier. I told him that I would offer all support to him that would be required for him to become the Prime Minister. But let me clarify once again that I don''t wish to join BJP, I am happy with my party and I am proud of it. I have not been able to fight elections due to lack of funds," said Bharti.

Uma Bharti to campaign for AdvaniNew Delhi, Mar 18 : Declaring her absolute support to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the coming elections, Bharatiya Janashakti Party leader Uma Bharti on Wednesday said she would campaign for the BJP''s prime ministerial candidate, L K Advani, in the interest of the country.

Addressing a press conference here, Bharti said it would be her good fortune if she could help Advani achieve even a single vote.

BJS national conference on Friday New Delhi, Mar. 17 : BJP’s Prime ministerial candidate Lal Krishna Advani has found a supporter in Bhartiya Janshakti Party chief Uma Bharti, who has now come out in support of his candidature.

In a letter to Advani, Bharti is believed to have expressed her support for the veteran leader, sources claimed.

Interestingly, Bharti had left the BJP accusing Advani of partisan behaviour.

A close aide of Bharti reportedly delivered her letter saying that she would be “happy to see Advani in the Prime Minister''s chair.”

BJS National Secretary Inder Prajapat, while talking to reporters, said, "If she (Pragya) wishes, our party will field her from any seat in Madhya Pradesh against the BJP."
