New York, Feb 24 : American actor Tom Cruise was seen having an awkward moment while talking to his ex, Spanish actress Penelope Cruz, at Creative Artists Agency head Bryan Lourd''s house party on February 20.

According to reports, Cruise was talking with MGM head Mary Parent and producer John Goldwyn in Lourd''s living room when Cruz approached him.

"Penelope tapped him on the shoulder and timidly asked, `Tom?'" the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

"Tom turned around, got visibly flustered and awkwardly said, `Oh, hey. Hi,' and gave her a small, distant hug before turning back around to his friends. It was weird," the source added.

Washington, February 17 : Hollywood star Tom Cruise apparently does not have any hard feelings towards his ex-wife Nicole Kidman''s present husband Keith Urban, for he applauded a performance the country singer gave at a race car convention on Sunday.

Cruise and his adopted son Connor, 14, cheered on Urban as he played a set before the kick-off of the Daytona 500 car race in Florida.

"Tom and Connor had a great day out and really enjoyed listening to Keith as he performed," Contacmusic quoted an onlooker as saying.

Washington, February 14 : Hollywood star Tom Cruise will be back to the racetrack where he filmed the flick `Days Of Thunder', when he attends a NASCAR event on Sunday.

The `Mission Impossible' star is expected to be in the pace car at the start of the Daytona 500 race in Florida.

He recently revealed that he once got the chance to race around the track while filming `Days of Thunder' in the late 1980s.

Washington, Feb 12 : American actor Tom Cruise is set to join actor Denzel Washington in the David Cronenberg-directed adaptation of the Robert Ludlum thriller "The Matarese Circle" for MGM.

Cruise and Washington play the role of two bitter enemy spies who, after spending two decades trying to kill each other, grudgingly team up against the Matarese, a powerful group at the root of a conspiracy.

New Delhi, Feb 11 : A Brazilian website is selling a coffee cup which was reportedly used by Tom Cruise while on holiday in Forte da Urca, Brazil.

So far the empty cup has a sale price of 2,200 dollars, reports the China Daily.

The man who initiated the auction on website Mercado Libre goes by the screen name Rafael Mak.

The authenticity of the sale has, however, been contested.

New York, Feb 6 : American actor Tom Cruise got his geography mixed up when he greeted reporters in Portuguese speaking Rio de Janeiro, by speaking to them in Spanish.

Cruise was in the Brazilian city to promote his movie `Valkyrie', and he tried to get friendly with the reporters by saying hola (hello) and gracias (thanks) to them, reports the New York Post.
