Washington, February 27 : U. S. First Lady Michelle Obama is a huge fan of Hollywood couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, who have a "strong family".
She revealed her liking for the `I Am Legend' star, his actress wife, and their kids when, during an interview, asked about the people she still wanted to meet.
Washington, February 26 : U. S. President Barack Obama credited Stevie Wonder's music for earning him the love of First Lady Michelle, when he honoured the legendry singer with the Library of Congress Gershwin Award on Wednesday night.
"I think it's fair to say that had I not been a Stevie Wonder fan, Michelle might not have dated me. We might not have married. And the fact that we agreed on Stevie was a part of the essence of our courtship," Fox News quoted him as saying in a half-joking manner.
Washington, Feb 26 : U. S. First Lady Michelle Obama has revealed that her family is planning to get a pet dog at the White House soon.
She said during an interview that the family would be getting the dog sometime after spring break, when she and President Barack Obama come back from vacation with their daughters Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7.
"So Sasha says, 'April 1st.' I said, 'April.' She says, 'April 1st.' It's, like, April!" People magazine quoted her as saying.
"Got to do it after spring break. You can't get a new dog and then go away for a week," she added.
Washington, Feb. 24: A new survey has revealed that US First Lady Michelle Obama holds overwhelmingly positive views among Americans with 49 percent considering her favorable and just five percent viewing her unfavorably.
The latest CBS News/New York Times poll found out that one out of every two American favours Michelle, while 44 percent are undecided or don't know enough about the first lady to hold an opinion, the CBS news reports.
