Washington, Jan 20 : Kate Beckinsale has revealed that her ex boyfriend Michael Sheen and her husband Len Wiseman get along extremely well.

The British actress, who lives in Hollywood with husband Wiseman, has daughter Lily with Sheen.

Beckinsale said that she enjoys staying friendly with `Frost/Nixon' star Sheen, with whom she split in 2003, for the sake of their daughter.

And the actress'' 10-year-old, Lily, gets to call both ''dad'' and the extended family does everything together - even shaving.

"Michael had a huge beard recently and I decided if would be fun if Lily got to shave it off. So we got Len''s clippers and shaved Michael," Contactmusic quoted Beckinsale, as saying.

The `Pearl Harbour' actress was not appreciated for the way she looked in " Nothing But The Truth", in which she played a jailed reporter.

She is now asking her fans to be prepared for the worst.

Kate has revealed that her upcoming horror flick "Whiteout" will feature her as a horribly disfigured woman.

London, December 25 : Kate Beckinsale may have to wait a little longer for her Oscar bid after her new movie landed in trouble with the distributors.

The actress, whose `Nothing But The Truth' now faces tough chances of having a wider audience, had impressed US critics with her performance in the 2008 thriller.

Kate, a journalist in the movie who prefers to go behind the bars rather than name her source, is set to have her Oscar hopes squashed since only few voters would get the chance to see the movie.

"We don't know if there will even be any ads promoting the film now," the Daily Express quoted director Rod Lurie as saying.

The `Underworld' actress, who lives in Los Angeles with husband Len Wiseman, and her daughter Lily, is constantly hounded by paparazzi as soon as she steps out.

However, Beckinsale has her own way of dealing with the intruding paparazzi, and credits her reserved nature for making her ignore the photographers.

"Maybe it''s a British thing. I sort of adopt a victim mentality in that I can''t do anything about it so it''s pointless throwing things and shouting," Contactmusic quoted Kate, as telling Access Hollywood.

London, Dec 3 : English actress Kate Beckinsale got a first hand lesson in entertainment journalism after she took a job with a U. S. newspaper to prepare for a film role.

Beckinsale, 35, plays the role of a reporter in the new movie ‘Nothing But The Truth’, and to get her part right she spent her time shadowing journalists on the Los Angeles Times.

For the Van Helsing actress, trying to learn the trade has given her an enlightening experience.

“We are slightly sort of under the ''us and them'' thing. It''s a little like enemy lines - but when I was there I found it was amazingly similar to acting. It was quite nice to go, ''I kind of get it more than I thought I would’,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.
