London, Mar. 30 : Inter-Milan boss Jose Mourinho has launched a thinly-veiled attack on England mid-fielder David Beckham, accusing him of going to America for money only.

Beckham became one of the highest paid players in football when he left Real Madrid to join LA Galaxy in July 2007.

But the former Manchester United star made little impression on the pitch and joined Italian giants AC Milan in January.

The deal was initially a short-term loan arrangement set up to help him stay fit during the Major League Soccer off-season.

London, Mar. 10: Inter-Milan football team coach Jose Mourinho has rubbished claims that he is after Manchester United coach Alex Ferguson's job. Interviews at the weekend had quoted Mourinho saying he was ready to replace Fergie as United chief and would defeat him in the second leg.

But Mourinho said that he made no such comments.

Former Chelsea boss Mourinho's advisor Eladio Parames told SunSport last night: "Jose did not give an interview or speak with anyone about Alex Ferguson's job.
