Washington, December 30 : Fur loving Courtney Love has blasted animal rights activists, and backed her right to don herself in whatever she pleases.

Writing on her official Internet blog, the rocker-actress confronted People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), members of which have been campaigning against Hollywood A-listers who clad themselves in animal skin.

The `Hole' frontwoman, who had been married to Nirvana singer-guitarist Kurt Cobain for two years, confessed she was a fur fan and was least bothered about offending people, reports Contactmusic.

London, Dec 20 : Courtney Love has given up anti-depressants for the moment in a bid to confront her demons while recording her new album.

The `Honey' hitmaker revealed that she has stopped taking the anti-depressants meant for moderating her fierce personality so that fans get a peek at her true self through her new album.

"I''m off antidepressants for the moment because my album producer wants me to feel the rage, wants me to be really angry, wants me to face the demons. And I am so f***ing angry!" The Daily Star quoted Courtney love, as telling Elle magazine.

London, Dec 2 : Courtney Love has revealed that she once asked a doctor to give her a gastric band to help her lose weight.

The former Hole singer - who recently lost a dramatic amount of weight, prompting surgery rumours - admits she was keen to undergo the procedure after becoming depressed about her ballooning weight.

“Baby, if I could get a gastric band I would,” the Sun quoted her, as telling Elle magazine.

“I’ve heard it’s a lot of vomiting and a pain in the a**, but it’s still easier than a diet.

“I did go to see a Hollywood doctor about it. I wasn’t desperate, I just knew I had to do something. He said no.

“I might have been fat, but I wasn’t that fat,” she added.

Washington, Nov 19 : Courtney Love has denied Internet claims that she has been feeling suicidal.

Recently, the singer alarmed fans in a bizarre rant on her MySpace blog about death, reports Usmagazine. com.

However, now Love insists that she occasionally gets depressed and has no intentions of ending her life.

She wrote on her blog: "No, I am not suicidal. Occasionally, like all of us, I get depressed."

After revealing that she suffered a "mini little depression attack" more than a year ago, Love says she has learned that "medication is not the answer" to dealing with her mood swings.

Washington, Sept 14:  Rocker Courtney Love is now counting on her fans to provide inspiration for the lyrics of a new track after suffering a bout of writer's block.

The rocker is looking to her fan following as she is finding it difficult penning a new song.

Love posted a message on her MySpace blog inviting her fans to help her write some fresh material for a new album.
