Islamabad, Sep 28 : President Asif Ali Zardari has said that only Pakistan and it’s security forces have the rights to take any action inside its border and in case America having any reservation regarding security, it should inform Pakistan despite taking action on its own. 

Zardari said this while giving interview to a US newspaper, adding that Pakistan knows it well how to take any security action against terrorists and most importantly taking any action against terrorist within its border is Pakistan’s internal matter. 

Washington, Sept 28: President Asif Ali Zardari has denied that US and Pakistani forces had exchanged fire along the Afghan border this week, even as the chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff acknowledged the two sides engaged in a brief firefight.

The Washington Post quoted Zardari as saying that Pakistani border forces shot warning flares on Thursday at two US helicopters that he believes inadvertently crossed into Pakistani territory from Afghanistan.

Islamabad, Sept 27 (ANI): A presidential spokesman has denied media reports claiming that President Asif Ali Zardari had misspelled words “God” and “strength” in his message written in the visitor’s book kept at the Mazar-e-Quaid when he visited it on September 11.

The spokesman said that some unknown persons had sent mysterious emails to different journalists, TV channels and newspapers in which it had been claimed that Zardari misspelled these words.

He said that both India and Pakistan must respect each other and work to peacefully resolve all outstanding issues.
