No compromise with Al-Qaeda, Taliban: KayaniLahore, Dec. 24 : Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff General, Ashfaq Kayani has said that Pakistan realises threat posed by militant outfits like, Al Qaeda and the Taliban, adding that the nation is in no mood to compromise with them. Kayani had a discussion with the US Marine Commander, James Conway, over the current security conditions, a private TV channel reported.

The two military officials are believed to have discussed `overall regional security', US drone attacks in Pakistan and US-Pakistan military co-operation on the Pak-Afghan border.

The ''Pakistan Army stands for peace and security,'' General Kayani said in a statement that released after the 113th Corps Commanders'' conference held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Thursday.

The Commanders'' conference was the first since last week''s terror attack in Mumbai, the Dawn reports.
