Ace film producer Ram Gopal Verma has finally announced May 4 as the date to launch the promotions of its much-awaited movie ‘Sarkar Raj.’

Previously, the promotional work was planned to start on May 11.

With the failing of Tashan, and its complete blackout from India's multiplex companies, Z Picture Company, who possesses the marketing and distribution rights of Sarkar Raj are promoting it with the intention to fill up the yawning gap.

Mumbai, Apr 7: The Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray, in an article which appeared in the party mouthpiece ‘Saamna’ on Monday, has stated not to drag Amitabh Bachchan into the son of the soil controversy as he did not belong to any particular region.

Thackeray has written that Amitabh would fight for the state where he worked and where he had been living for the past 40 years.

Mumbai, Mar 1: Some unidentified persons attacked the Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited (ABCL) office in Juhu late on Friday night. They allegedly threw beer bottles at the actor’s office, which is situated behind his Juhu residence “Jalsa”.

The incident came in the wake of reports about a similar incident at the Bachchans’ residence “Pratikhshsa” during the Maharastra Navinirman Sena-led campaign against north Indians migrant workers, early last month.
