‘Paul Blart: Mall Cop’ tops weekend box office

Washington, Jan 19 : The Kevin James comedy "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" has topped the weekend box office after raking in 33.8 million dollars.

According to studio estimates, the Clint Eastwood drama `Gran Torino' landed the second spot with 22.2 million dollars, reports E! Online.

`My Bloody Valentine 3-D' came third with 21.9 million dollars while `Notorious' stood fourth with 21.5 million dollars.

Paramount''s `Hotel for Dogs,' a heart-warmer about a pair of adolescents who turn an abandoned hotel into a shelter for stray dogs, rounded off the top after earning 17.7 million dollars.
