Pakistan Radio efforts to promote insecurity among Muslims
Abohar (Ferozepur), Sep. 22 : The Punjabi Durbar programme of the Pakistan Radio its new series of broadcasts has been trying to promote insecurity among Indian Muslims living in Abohar.
According to the Pakistan Radio, Hindus are exploiting Muslims and other minority groups. The allegation is that these members of these communities are not allowed to follow their religion freely. And, the minorities don’t have equal rights as enjoyed by the Hindus.
Muslims, residing in Abohar town of Punjab’s Ferozepur district, have reacted angrily to such a baseless propaganda.
Muslims, residing in Abohar town, said that such allegation by Pakistan Radio is totally false. They have warned Pakistan to stay away from them and their internal matters.
Feroze Khan, a resident of Abohar, said: “I am living here for the last 21 years. There are several Muslims like me who arrived here from other States of the country. We are living in peace and earning our livelihood. We practice our religious faith without any problem. Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs live here as brothers in peace. There is no tension between us.”
Rais Aman nami, a Muslim priest, in Abohar said: “Our religion teaches us to be faithful to our country. We totally oppose Pakistan’s attempt to create an atmosphere of disharmony among Indian communities. We condemn Pakistan’s conspiracy against India. (ANI)
