Lahore, Apr. 9: A Pakistani Christian, Shahbaz, killed his mother on Tuesday here, after she allowed his sister to convert to Islam and marry a Muslim man.

Iqbal Town police said Shahbaz killed his mother, Naziran Bibi, for supporting his sister, Nusrat Bibi, to marry a Muslim man in Multan.

When Naziran returned from Multan on Tuesday, Shahbaz argued with her over his sister’s conversion and shot her dead. The police have sent the body for an autopsy and registered a case on the complaint of Shahbaz’s other sister, Bushra, the Daily Times reported. (ANI)
