More than 2,000 people walked on Sunday to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. Jenifer Walsh was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 17 years ago when she was pregnant with her first daughter. She participated in the Multiple Sclerosis walk and said the disease badly affected her left side.

Her husband Don Walsh, who helps in organizing the event every year, said he loves his wife very much and will try his best to help find a cure. More than 6,000 people are living with Multiple Sclerosis in Connecticut, and millions worldwide.

They cross the finish line every year hoping to find a cure. "I wish we didn't have to walk for 17 years, but they're coming up with new and better drugs each year and we hope that one of these dollars that we raise at one of these walks will find the cure", said Don Walsh.

Jenifer said she tries to keep a good attitude and thinks that half the battle is over. Sunday's walk in Cheshire is one of many events across the state. Efforts are being made by the MS Society to raise 1.4 million dollars from all of their Connecticut events to carry out researches on Multiple Sclerosis.
