Adding one more feather to its crown, Jamshedpur, popularly known as the Steel City, has come up with a puja website.

With just a click, the puja website will let you know the well-known and admired Durga Puja pandals in the city.

Now, through a virtual visit, you can take a close view of puja pandals of the Steel City.

Apart from this, the portal provides important information on a variety of puja committees, mainly the 10-12 puja committees in the city.

Speaking on this unique portal, Tara Chand Mohanty, (President, Kendriya Durga Puja Committee) said: “The portal showcases the origin of Durga Puja in the Steel city and its various forms. Besides, the puja route map' and the aarti' celebrations in pandals are also available as an additional information on the website," said Tara Chand Mohanty, the president of the Kendriya Durga Puja Committee.

The website has been developed by Apostle Technologies, considered as one of the top software development company of Jharkhand.

However, the puja website does not carry the information regarding every licensed puja pandals of the city.

Notably, there are 344 licensed puja pandals in the city.
