Men’s health supplements provide no benefit to prostate cancer patients

A new research paper has found no evidence that proves that men’s health supplements prove beneficial for prostate cancer patients. Study researchers have based their findings on the assessment of over 2,200 men who were lately diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Study researchers said that they did not find evidence that supplements reduces the risk of radiation treatment side effects; risk of cancer getting spread and risk of prostate cancer patients’ death from the disease.

Study’s lead researcher Dr. Nicholas Zaorsky from the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia said that when they started the study, they suspected that supplements are junk and their research has proved the same.

Organic Pastures Dairy’s Raw Milk recalled

The California Department of Food and Agriculture said that raw whole milk produced by Organic Pastures Dairy in Fresno County has been recalled as it has been tested positive for the presence of campylobacter bacteria.

As per California State Veterinarian Annette Jones, the recalled milk having a code date of OCT 24 is also facing a quarantine order. So far, no illness has been reported. As per the recall, Organic Pastures Dairy brand Grade-A raw milk having OCT 24 code date should be immediately removed from retail shelves.

People having the product are suggested to dispose it off. California Department of Food and Agriculture inspectors said that they have found the bacteria while carrying out normal product testing at the facility.
