Business Confidence in Australia reaches November level

NAB-LOGONational Australia Bank has released its data for Monthly Business Survey and Economic Outlook for February today. According to the data, the business confidence was reported to reach the November level which is the highest level since May 2002. The improved trading conditions and profitability played a major role in the rising of business confidence.

New South Wales Government is all set to sell WSN

WSN-Environmental-SolutionsThe government of New South Wales is all set to sell the state owned waste business WSN Environmental Solutions. WSN operates eleven waste recycling, processing and disposal facilities around Sydney. The Treasurer Eric Roozendaal provided this information saying that legislation will be introduced to parliament today to allow the transfer of the waste business to private sector. The budget committee of state cabinet has already given its clearance to the sale of WSN yesterday.

Sales expectations for second quarter rise to a 6 year high

The survey reveals that the Sales expectations among Australian businesses for the second quarter ending June 2010 were reported to reach the highest levels for past 6 years. Also, the profits expectations for the period are reported to reach 5 year high levels.
