Hero Honda celebrates Women’s Day in its own way
The World's largest two-wheeler company by volume for nine consecutive years decided to celebrate the World Women's day in its own fancy way by launching a special edition of its Pleasure scooter. Taking its 'why should boys have the fun' approach, the company launched the popular scooter in a pearl white colour with a blast of red.
Priced at Rs. 37, 250 (Ex-Showroom price, Delhi), the new Pleasure offers more than just a new colour. Carrying a new elliptical meter console, a red muffler cover, complimenting the unique tail-light design, the company is well on its way to take the segment by storm.
While Pleasure sells 20,000 units on an average per month, the product is doing far better than what was expected out of it at the time of the launch. Hero Honda's Senior Vice President - Marketing, Anil Dua explained that since, 2006 when Pleasure was launched it has been targeted on the modern, independent Indian woman and this new product is a tribute to the women of substance and hence the company has chosen Women's Day as the date of its launch. The company has already launched six new products in the current fiscal including the much-hyped Karizma ZMR.
