Mumbai, Sep 6 - Poor Emraan Hashmi! There seems to be no getting away from the "serial kisser" tag despite his many protestations and he's back to locking lips in his forthcoming film "The Dirty Picture".

If people wish to remember him for his on-screen kisses, so be it, says the somewhat exasperated actor who has for long been looking for an image change.

New York, Sept 6 : Madonna has revealed the release date of her new album while promoting her upcoming movie `W. E' at the Venice Film Festival.

According to Sweden's Sveriges Television, the 53-year-old American singer said that she is already making progress on the record, adding that a single from the album could be out as early as February next year.

"I've started a little bit of work in the studio," the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.

Washington, Sept 6 : McMaster University researchers have discovered that couch potatoes who are thought to be lazy could be missing the key genes and so naturally find it more difficult to exercise.

The researchers made their unexpected finding while working with healthy, specially-bred mice, some of which had two genes in muscle essential for exercise removed. The genes control the protein AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), an enzyme that is switched on when you exercise.

London, Sept 6 : Robbie Williams has started choosing songs for his new album, and his right-hand man Chris Briggs has flown all the way to Los Angeles to help the singer through a heap of songs recorded by him.

The 37-year-old English singer who has first been paired with hitmaker Guy Chambers by A and R legend Briggs, to create his mega-hit `Angels', has since trusted Briggs' opinion above anyone else in the business.

London, Sep 6 - Actor Josh Duhamel and his wife Fergie's band the Black Eyed Peas have raised $1 million through a benefit concert for flood-hit hometown Minot in North Dakota.

The actor organised a benefit concert to help rebuild his hometown after severe flooding damaged over 4,000 homes and made 11,000 residents flee their properties.

The Minot Rising concert was attended by around 16,000 fans at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds, where Fergie paid tribute to residents for their bravery.

Venice, Sep 6 - Veteran actor Al Pacino has been honoured at the Venice Film Festival for his work as a moviemaker.

Pacino is in Venice to promote his new directorial project "Wilde Salome", a part-documentary about writer-poet Oscar Wilde and part-movie adaptation of his play "Salome".
