Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan, like other Hollywood celebrities, remains in news more for her social life than her professional life.

Though most of the time Hollywood controversies of these celebrities don't have any link to India, but Lindsay Lohan has surpassed the others this time.

The latest controversy in which she is caught is related to her tour in India.

According to her Visa, she came to India for tourism purpose, but she was sited in a BBC Documentary which was aired on the TV channel.

Indian movie industry's star actress Priyanka Chopra, has replaced Akshay Kumar as a TV show anchor. Akshay Kumar has been hosting the last two seasons of hit reality show Fear Factor Khatron Ka Khiladi, which will be telecasted on Viacom 18's general entertainment channel Colors.

The Federal Reserve Board has ended an exemption which was given to six banks during the financial crisis.

23-A exemption, as it is called, was given so that the banks are able to maintain a proper level of liquidity for mortgage and asset- back securities. The exemption was given from August 17, 2007.

The removal is seen as a part of the stimulus wind-down by the Fed.

Royal Dutch Shell PLC and Nexen Inc. have announced that they have discovered a 'significant' source of oil in the eastern Gulf of Mexico.

It was done in Mississippi Canyon blocks 391 and 392 at Appoxmattox.

The two companies are working together to develop the oil project. They said that the discovery was made in deep water and the quality of oil is good. The reservoir was found while an exploratory well was being drilled.

The well is located 2,200 meters inside water and is 7,500 metres below the sea level. The vertical thickness of the well is 160 meters.
