New Delhi, March 24 -Vivek Oberoi is a man on a mission - apart from doing quality work in films, he wants to help the needy and says that "inner happiness is achieved by doing good for others".

"I feel it's my duty to help the needy. I have been taught by my family that inner happiness is achieved by doing good for others and I totally believe in this. Everyone should take out time from their busy schedule to spread happiness in the world," Vivek told IANS in an email interview.

A report says that the regional banks have got more business and made more money out of the mortgage broking segment. They have replaced the big players and have managed to get the larger market share, reports Market Intelligence Strategy Centre.

The research done by the consultancy firm shows that the two regional banks- BankSA and Bank West, in particular, have increased their share at the expense of others.

Surprisingly, they have managed to do so even when the market for this type of banking has decreased.

Nomura Australia Ltd., an Australian unit of Nomura Holdings Inc., has reportedly hired about 10 equity research analysts and sales traders from Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc. According to the reports, 8 analysts and 2 sales traders moved from RBS to Nomura on Tuesday. Nomura Holdings Inc., a Japanese group, took this step to strengthen its market presence in the Australian market.

TPG Telecom Ltd., an Australian internet service provider, announced today that the company has posted an excellent 443% growth in net profit for the first half of the year. TPG said that the excellent first half results were driven by the strong growth in its broadband subscriber base. TPG also raised its guidance for the remaining half and full year 2009.

Fortescue Metals Group Ltd. has announced that it would be selling stake in one of its projects in Western Australia. It said the buyer would be foreign steel mills and they would buy out almost half of the stake in the magnetite projects.

Talking to media during a conference, Andrew Forrest, Chief Executive of the iron ore miner said that the company is happy with the deal and is trying to sell even more stake if only they can keep a meaningful number.
