Director Ratnaja's film, Premism has been passed by the Censor Board with a `U' certificate. Now that the Censor Board formalities are over, the film will be released soon. Premism stars Amoolya with newcomers Varun and Chetan and has been produced by Ajay R Gowda.

Premism is a teenaged love triangle story. It also features a number of comic moments, which were absent in Ratnaja's earlier films, Honganasu and Nenapirali. Varun plays a constable's son, Chetan's role is that of a rich brat and Amoolya plays the female lead.

Delhi-born Kriti Karbanda debuted in Telugu films opposite Akkinen Nageshwara Rao's grandson, Sumanth. She is now venturing into Kannada films and will play the female lead opposite Tamil actor Arjun's nephew Chiranjeevi Sarja.

Kriti addressed the media in a sweet and confident manner after the muhurat of her first Kannada film, Chiru, at Gavi Gangadeshwara Temple in Hanumanthnagar. Chiru is directed by Mahesh Babu and produced by Suresh Jain.

The posters of this new Kannada film "Nirdoshi" proudly proclaims that the film has been cleared by a tribunal and the censor board had not cleared the film. The film's producer and director Goverdhan, who has also given the music, said that though the censor board wanted to delete many important sequences of the film, he was able to fight it out with the tribunal and won the case.
