Jordan's king to meet Solana on Mideast peace talks
Amman - King Abdullah II of Jordan planned to have talks on Sunday with European foreign policy chief Javier Solana on the prospects for concluding a peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinians before the end of 2008, officials said.
Solana arrived in Amman Saturday night coming from Cairo where he held similar talks with Egyptian leaders.
His current Middle East tour also took him to Israel and the Palestinian territories. (dpa)
