BBC: Agreement reached in Zimbabwe power-sharing deal
Harare/Johannesburg - Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe and opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai have reached a power-sharing agreement, the BBC reported Thursday.
The British broadcaster quoted Tsvangirai as saying a deal had been reached, but no details about the plan had yet been released.
Zimbabwe's political leaders had earlier haggled over the details of a power-sharing agreement for a fourth day running in Harare on Thursday amid mixed signals Mugabe about the likelihood a deal would be signed this week. (dpa)
