BHEL To Invest INR 1,400 Cr In Castings And Forgings Facility
India’s public sector company, Bharat Heavy Electricals is planning to invest INR 1,400 crore to increase its power equipment capacity. It would build a manufacturing facility for castings and forgings as per its planning.
The state run company has already formed a joint venture with Heavy Engineering Corporation to meet technical needs. The CMD of BHEL; Mr K Ravi Kumar explained the planes of company for the next fiscal.
The newly formed JV Company is intended to manufacture power equipments at Heavy Machine Building Plant and Heavy Machine Tools Plant. BHEL would provide technical help to the JV and invest same amount towards the equity capital of the company.
