Farooq Sheikh returns to the movie world with Saas Bahu Aur Sensex, which will be released later this month.

Farooq Sheikh said he had lot of fun as he returned to the films. He plays the role of a broker in the movie.

"I am busy reading scripts and the main criteria for me before I give a go-ahead to a project is that it should instill enough confidence in me," he said. Farooq Sheikh, the legendary actor is popular with the present generation also because of his super hit chat show Jeena Issi Ka Naam Hai.

Farooq Sheikh, commenting on the remake of his films, said: "Umrao Jaan has already been remade with Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan while I believe work is already on for the remake of Chashme Baddoor."

"However, I know for sure that Raman Kumar is now planning a sequel to Saath Saath. Deepti Naval and I are already into  conversation. Raman is an old friend and we all may just return with the sequel."

Saas Bahu Aur Sensex is a light hearted entertainer and Farooq Sheikh is likely to make similar kind of movies.

"Not necessarily. Any particular kind doesn’t make a difference. As I said, the subject should be interesting enough regardless of whether it is a comedy or a drama," said Farooq Sheikh, who has more than a dozen critically acclaimed films to his credit ever since his movie Garm Hawa was released in 1974.
