'Singh is King' has been invited for a gala presentation at the Toronto International Film Festival. The festival runs September 4 to 13 in Toronto.

'Singh is King' will be one of the 20 special films to be screened in the festival. The producer of the film has received invitation from Toronto International Film Festival Group (TIFFG) to participate in the festival.

The producer Vipul Shah expressed happiness on the success of his film. He termed it as an honor for India to get invited for such prestigious international event.

The film is directed by Anees Bazmi and Akshay Kumar with Katrina Kaif has played roles in the film. The film revolves around a gang of dreaded criminals who turned good for his love sake.

A large number of Hollywood and sine stares from other countries are expected to attend the festival. A total of 312 films will be screened at the festival including Deepa Mehta's Heaven on Earth.
