The Kawasaki Ninja e-1 and Z e-1 electric motorcycles are officially heading to the UK, igniting fervent anticipation, thanks to their eye-catching aesthetics and remarkable performance. Making an official declaration, Kawasaki announced its inaugural foray into the electric motorbike (e-motorbike) realm with the imminent entry of the Ninja e-1 and Z e-1 models in the UK market. Given the two e-motorbikes’ distinctive form factor and enticing power attributes, the anticipation surrounding them hardly comes as a surprise.

However, the announcement seems like a teaser than an official launch revelation, which left e-motorbike enthusiasts craving for more information.

Both of the two upcoming e-motorbikes get their propulsion from a brushless electric motor (e-motor), which produces a consistent 5 kilowatts (equivalent to approx. 6.7 hp) and can unleash a peak performance of 9 kW (approx. 12 hp). Furthermore, both e-motorbikes bikes employ a detachable twin-battery setup wired in parallel, featuring additional convenience through effortless off-bike charging capability.

In alignment with the standard practice within the domain of e-motorbikes, both the Kawasaki Ninja e-1 and Z e-1 boasts a clutch-less operational system. Riders get the simplicity of just twisting the throttle to start their journey. Additionally, the two motorbikes come equipped with two distinct ride modes, viz. the "Road" mode and the "Eco" mode.
