Stocks to Watch: Tata Steel, Infosys, Wipro, Shriram Finance and TCS
Indian markets are expected to open slightly positive as the sentiment in the Indian markets is still positive. US markets closed negative for third session on Wednesday. US markets haven’t declined much but the sentiment is slightly negative after recent rally that took Nasdaq and Dow Jones to yearly highs. Indian stocks could touch another lifetime high for NSE Nifty in today’s session. Stocks to watch out in today’s session have been listed below.
Infosys: The technology major has been given ‘overweight’ rating by Morgan Stanley. The analysts have cut their target price to Rs 1,440 from Rs 1,475 earlier.
TCS: IT services major TCS has announced GBP 840 million contract with the UK's Nest to improve customer experience for its pension fund. TCS informed that if the contract is extended, it could generate billing up to GBP 1.5 billion for the company.
Shriram Finance: The stock witnessed strong rally yesterday after Piramal Group sold its stake in the company. Jefferies has upgraded the stock to BUY from Hold. The target price has been revised to 2130 from earlier 1445.
Wipro: Technology major Wipro’s share buyback starts today. The 12,000-crore stock buyback plan will continue till June 29.
Tata Steel: The stock has been trading firm and traders can expect further move in this counter. Tata Steel also goes ex-dividend today.
