It has been reported that many professional athletes have received a latest medical treatment in New York. The treatment is reported to be costing as minimum as $15,000. The treatment has been named as "The Soup"; it is a mixture of human cells, comprising stem cells derived from a patient's fat.

As per reports, if it works the way patients are looking forward to it, The Soup can assist in repairing injuries, which otherwise may need surgery that could be of damaged elbows, knees, necks, hips and more.

According to Steven Victor, founder and chairman of IntelliCell BioSciences, The Soup's manufacturer, "Traditional medicine and traditional drugs do not work for a lot of patients. This kind of cellular therapy can really be a savior to them".

IntelliCell's technology that appeared only a few years ago already has provided treatment to a number of active and former pro athletes, together with Merril Hoge, who is a former NFL player, according to whom, he was amazed to realize how quickly his elbow injury was healed following getting treated last year.
