George Bush’s special wedding gift for daughter - a limestone altar
Washington, May 6 : US First Lady Laura Bush has revealed her husband and American president George Bush has prepared an extra-special wedding gift for daughter Jenna – a limestone altar.
Speaking during a news conference at the family's Crawford, Texas ranch, where Jenna will wed on May 10, Laura said that it was George’s idea to build the beautiful altar.
"[It] was his idea to build this beautiful limestone altar," People quoted her, as telling the reporters.
"It's the same thing that our house is made of from a local quarry. And they're the ones that made it,” she added.
She further said that the mood during Jenna’s approaching nuptials to Henry Hager is more festive than nervous.
"Neither one of us are nervous. I'm very, very excited. It's a very interesting passage of life when you get to that time in your life when your first child is getting married. And we're gaining ... our first son. So it's a thrill,” she said. (ANI)
