Washington, Aug 5: Katy Perry, who was nominated for nine MTV Video Music Awards last month, has received one more nod after her `Firework' promo was listed in the `Best Video With A Message' category.

Others nominations lined up in this category are Eminem and Rihanna's `Love The Way You Lie', Pink's `F**king Perfect', `Make it Stop' by Rise Against, Taylor Swift's `Mean' and `Born This Way' by Lady Gaga.

Perry is also up for Best Pop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Direction and Video of the Year for `Firework', Contactmusic reported.

British sensation Adele has seven nods and was also nominated for Video of the Year with `Rolling in the Deep'.

Next, Kanye West, who is up for prizes including Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Male Video, also has seven nominations.

The award ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on 28 August 2011. (ANI)
