Rupee Hits a High

RupeeIn a recent development, it was revealed that the Indian Rupee has gained a few points in comparison with the euro. The rupee gained its highest in two months and this has happened due to inflow of the dollars. The euro has also been stable for a while now and this is the reason for the recent gain.

The final position of the rupee was 44.5825/5925 in comparison with Dollar. The highest it reached was about 44.5175, and this is the strongest record since last recorded in May.

"Exporters selling dollar pushed the rupee up. The flows were good, so weak shares had limited impact on the rupee”, said Vikas Chittiprolu, a senior forex dealer with Andhra Bank.

The euro saw a stable disposition after many weeks and was higher as compared to the USD. The Dollar ranged higher by about 0.21% by the end of the day in the market. The Swiss currency Franc saw a slight slump. This was due to the austerity measures that called for cut backs of positions in the currency.

The recent developments of the economic market have called for these changes in currencies and it is a matter of time to see how the original players of the game come forward and regain their lost poise.
