Sensex Declines 133.79 Pts; RIL UpbeatThe 30-share index BSE Sensex broadened losses on account of continued profit booking witnessed across index heavyweights.

All sections were ruling in the pessimistic zone with automobile, capital goods and banking scrips topping the pack.

But, oil & gas saw some buying action.

At 10:30 a. m., the 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which belled the day at 18,390.72, was trading 133.79 points down at 18,304.52 as against its last closure at 18,438.31.

Meanwhile, the 50-scrip S&P CNX Nifty of the National Stock Exchange, which started the day with a decline of 14.20 points at 5,504.40, stood at 5,476.35, down 42.25 points.

The top gainers in the Sensex pack comprised Reliance Industries Limited, which zoomed 4%, Wipro gained 1.83%, Sterlite Industries surged 1.60%, Reliance Comm added 0.48% and TCS remained up by 0.36%.

In contrast, the major losers in the Sensex were Hero Honda Motors, which lost 2.60%, Mahindra & Mahindra shed 2.23%, Bharti Airtel declined 2.14%, Maruti fell 2.12% and HDFC Bank was down by 2.07%.

The overall breadth of the stock market remained pessimistic with 814 progressions as compared to 1255 declinations.
