As the company is all set to make its presence felt in the Indian market, Nissan Motor India Private Ltd recently announced the appointment of the bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor to represent the Nissan brand in the Indian market.

As the upcoming Micra is all set for launch, the company also showcased the product at the event. Kiminobu Tokuyama, MD & CEO, NMIPL said that the company is indeed very delighted to sign Ranbir Kapoor as its brand ambassador.

Moreover, Tokuyama further highlighted the fact that Ranbir's uber cool image coupled with his mass appeal perfectly gels the brand attributes of Nissan and hence will add a lot of value in its marketing strategy.

The actor has signed a three-year long contract with the company wherein he will be a important part of products and services of Nissan in India and will be involved in promotion, advertising and marketing.

Speaking on the occasion, Ranbir Kapoor said that he is very excited to be a part of Nissan in India and as the automaker is very committed for its Indian journey, the actor is also looking forward for an exciting way forward.
