It is also surprising for the sensible and cheerful Vidya (Divyanka Tripathi) of the Banoo Main Teri Dulhann to know that media has fixed her marriage date.

The sweet Bhopali girl was furious reading her fake interviews put up by media.

When media persons contacted her, the actress said, “I am utterly shocked seeing these interviews. They are purely fake!”

On the marital front, she adds in, “Marriage is not my priority now. I am not getting married anytime soon, I need to focus on my career right now.”

Divyanka who looks to be completely shocked seeing her interviews said, “I request everyone to stop spreading such news and make sure they know what they are putting out.”

Talking about her renewed role, she stated, “I am very much happy playing Divya”. On an ending note, the actress quips, “Whenever I do decide to get married, I’ll let everyone know. I won’t keep it a secret”.

An Arts graduate, Divyanka has done her share of singing, dancing and riffle shooting before she joined television. Winning the Miss Bhopal 2002 was her ticket to TV.

“I didn’t want to be an actress. I never thought I was beautiful enough and could make it to the television industry,” she said.

On rumors about her close friendly relationship with co-star Sharad Malhotra, she also said, “We are friends for the last four years and I enjoy his company. There are times when we fight like cats and dogs but that never shows on screen.”
