Travolta says paramedic demanded £18M not to blame him for Jett’s deathLondon, Oct 1 : American actor John Travolta has told a court that the paramedic involved in the blackmail case had threatened to blame him for his son’s death unless he paid 18million pounds.

Travolta, 55, claimed Tarino Lightbourne said that he would sell stories to the media if he did not get the cash.

“He was threatening to imply that the death of my son was intentional and I was culpable in some way,” the Mirror quoted him as having told the court on September 30.

The extortion trial of Lightbourne and Pleasant Bridgewater follows the death of the star’s son Jett, 16, on Grand Bahama, and the case still continues. (ANI)
