London, Sep 11: Adnan Gulshair el Shukrijumah, also known as ‘Jafar the Pilot’, one of the world’s most wanted terrorists, with a five million dollar bounty on his head is on the move again.

According to reports, Shukrijumah has been traveling across the Middle East with relative impunity, courtesy a Saudi diplomatic passport.

Shukrijumah was selected after attack on the World Trade Centre twin towers by Osama bin Laden to be the terror group’s next Mohamed Atta for any second wave of attacks on the US.

The Saudi-born Shukrijumah came to US in 1985, and eventually settled in Florida where he became friends with several terrorists. He also attended flight schools in Florida and Oklahoma, and within Al-Qaeda was dubbed as Jafar al-Tayyar (‘Jafar the Pilot’).

US intelligence officials acquired information about Shukrijumah for the first time in 2002, when a detainee informed that ‘Jafar the Pilot’ would deliver a so-called American Hiroshima, an ambitious plan to detonate dirty bombs (conventional explosives filled with radioactive material) inside America, The Daily Beast reports.

His travels have alarmed the American intelligence community, who anticipate another terrorist attack in the near future. (ANI)
