Container Corporation of India (CCI) has informed that its net profit has witnessed a dip of 0.49% during the quarter ended June 30, 2009.

During the reporting quarter, the company has recorded a net profit of Rs 200.8 crore.

In the corresponding period of previous fiscal, company's net profit figure stood at Rs 201.8 crore.

Total income of the company surged to Rs 948.64 crore in the quarter under review compared to Rs 867.6 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
