When a raccoon upstaged Anne Hathway at Central Park gig
New York, June 13 : Those who went to see Anne Hathway's performance at Central Park were greeted by a surprise entertainer on stage-a raccoon.
The mammal strolled on stage while the `Princess Diaries' actress performed "Twelfth Night" in front of the audience.
"She and Audra McDonald were doing the first act when it just wandered onstage," the New York Post quoted a witness at the Public Theatre production at the Delacorte as saying.
The source added: "The audience started laughing and gasping, and it wasn''t a funny scene. Then the raccoon wandered off, but the girls had no idea what had happened until later." (ANI)
