With the aim to strengthen its footprint in the MP4 player market, Apacer has made announcement about the launching of its AU824 MP4 player in the Indian market.

The memory module solution provider said that the newly launched ultra-slim device is a blend of a classic blue body with mirrored stainless steel rear fascia radiates self-assurance and charm.

With a 1.8 inch TFT-LCD screen and ergonomic key design, the 4GB AU824 guarantees extra clarity while viewing video content or photographs.

The new MP4 player also lets users to enjoy a slideshow function for automated browsing of pics.

The AU824's equalizer effect provides 7 different modes, which includes Normal, Pop, Classical, Rock, Jazz, Bass, and Custom.

Moreover, A-B repeat and synchronisation functions make it softer and more commodious to learn the lyrics to songs.

The device, which comes with a battery back-up up to 8-hrs of continuous playing time, also features FM radio, digital recording capabilities, the support for e-books and a user interface of 12 different languages.

The AU824 also has video conversion software letting users to manage different file formats.

The AU824 MP4 is available at a price of Rs 2,649.

Apacer AU824 MP4 player would face rivalry from subsisting players including Creative ZEN V Plus and Samsung's YP-S3QB.

Even though their cost may be steeper they have a brand name to back them, whereas Apacer still has to prove its mark in the music player market.
