Godrej appliances that entered television business in April only has launched its first Game LCD TV with motion sensing technology.

The company has currently rolled out this new product in markets of West Bengal, Kerala, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. But the company expects to garner a market share of more than five per cent by the end of first year. As it has a target to sell more than 25,000 units by March next year.

The new Game LCD TV that comes at a price tag of Rs 40,000 has an automatic back light that ensures optimal performance. The new product will also have a package of 25 to 30 interactive games.

It will also have a provision of loading additional games with the help of an adjustable card slot. The new LCD will also come with a one GB memory pen drive.

Besides this, the company plans to launch 22 new products in the next couple of years as a part of its next phase of the launch. The company that has been growing at an average of 15-18% per annum during the past few years scores around 22% market share in the refrigeration sector.
