Many companies offers decent discounts and new products to cash on the festive season. After Sony, now it's Canon who has launched many new Digital products in the market .The products are better versions of existing models as well as new products from digital cameras,camcoders,printers,copiers and all-in-ones besides quite a few software applications. 

The company, for the first time, has launched cable ID printers and card printers and is very confident of their performance.

Canon India Senior VP Alok Bhardwaj said, "The market size for this printer is approximately Rs 100 crore and it is growing at 30 percent per annum." 

The Cable ID printer can print a variety of documents including drivers licence, employee badges, government and college ID cards, prepaid phone cards and other identification cards and badges. The cable ID printers may be used in the industry for printing sharp, durable and weather-resistant lettering on any labels or tubes like construction, control panel and manufacturing industries.

The CEO and Canon India President Kensaku Konishi said that the new products with cutting edge technologies were designed to add a whole new dimension to digital imaging for customers and garner greater market share for Canon in India. The company also announced that it shall soon focus on the Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities of the country.
