New BlackBeery feature tells friends if users watch porn
According to some reports, a new built in feature might alert contacts if a user watches adult pornographic websites on the blackberry smartphone.
The new built-in 'Show what I'm listening to' feature is designed to allow users to easily share music, videos or YouTube videos with their friends. However, it was reported that contacts of some users were shown when the user was accessing a porn website on a BlackBerry smartphone.
The feature runs Blackberry Z10 and Q10 smartphone and the company claims that the feature is required to be turned on before it starts sharing information with the contacts. Some users claimed that the feature was already turned on when they purchased the BlackBerry device. Users are informing each other about the undesired sharing incidences and are calling for others to be careful while using their BlackBerry devices.
BlackBerry that was formally known as Research in Motion, is offering the second model running the new BlackBerry 10 OS called, BlackBerry Q10. The BlackBerry Q10 feature a hardware qwerty keyboard, as traditionally preferred by BlackBerry customers and a 3.1in Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720-x-720-pixels. The BlackBerry Z10, which is the first device to run BB 10 OS, featured a larger 4.2in display.
