NComputing Inc has launched Power Saver
NComputing Inc. has launched its new L300. This Ethernet virtual desktop device claims to be energy-efficient and is priced at Rs. 9,500 in India. Its chief targets are small and medium businesses.
This new device makes use of the extra energy produced by a computer to power about 11 to 30 users at the same time, at near or remote locations.
It special vSpace virtualization software allows even the remote Ethernet local-area network to be centrally managed. One of its special features is seamless integration with operating systems like Windows, Linux, etc.
As a result, it has about two-crore daily users across 140 nations. Not only does it reduce unmatched economic advantages but it also offers features like zero client access with rich full screen motion multimedia playback.
The chief component, on which the L300 is based, is the NComputing Numo chip family delivers low-cost investment and reduces management and IT support costs.
Resultantly, it is a huge success in Indian enterprises who are already adapting to this new virtual desktop infrastructure. The L300 device is being brought from Korea and in India it will be marketed by Redington India.
