It was a time to rejoice for Mona singh, the ‘Jassi jaisi koi nahin’ fame who has been offered a role in Raj Kumar Hirani’s upcoming film, Three idiots. The model turned actress who celebrated her 27th birthday on 8th October was quite excited about her entry into Bollywood.

The film is based on Chetan Bhagat’s famous novel, ‘Five Point Someone’ and also features Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi. The offer was worth welcoming as Mona has been struggling for quite a while to enter the ‘Bolly’ arena. She said, "A couple of projects that were meant to happen never did. But I'm glad Raju Hirani signed me. It's a fabulous role."

Meanwhile the actress is currently busy dancing with cricketer Harbhajan Singh on the reality show, ‘Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena’. She seems to be quite exuberant about it on which she comments, “We've become very close buddies. I think it's the Punjabi connection. He has a reputation for being hotheaded. I've quite a temper myself. So we're fine with one another.”

On being asked about marriage plans with beau Karan Oberoi she says her career has just started and tying the knot is not on the cards at least for a while.
