Mishaps raises concerns over Boeing 787 Dreamliner

Some customers of the company raised concerns after the large aircraft was found to be involved in a second incident on Thursday. A fuel leak identified at Boston's Logan International Airport forced Japan Airlines to cancel a takeoff of 787. Day earlier, Japan Airlines had recorded an electrical fire on another 787 at the same airport in the US.

Boeing's customers in Asia said that they do not have plans to cancel or scale back orders for the aircraft. Asian customers said that such glitches are possible on new aircrafts and the Dreamliner had entered commercial space in November 2011.

Japan is the biggest customer of the aircraft and its JAL and All Nippon Airways (ANA) operate 24 of the total 49 new aircrafts delivered until December of 2012. Both JAL and ANA confirmed that they do not plan to cut down or cancel plans for the new aircraft.

Boeing has sold 848 of the planes but the company had to delay the delivery schedule by three years mainly due to a series of production delays.
